Affiliate relationships

As of 2026-07-10, this site has no affiliate relationships with any embroidery machine manufacturer, thread brand, stabilizer supplier, digitizing service, or other product mentioned on the site. All product references — Brother, Ricoma, Melco, Tajima, Madeira, Isacord, Sulky, Pellon, Digitizing Ninjas, Impact Digitizing, and any others — are for citation and comparison, not paid placement.

If we add affiliate links in the future, we will disclose them explicitly on the specific pages where they appear, add a site-wide notice here, and update the affiliate policy below. We will not disguise affiliate links as neutral recommendations.

Editorial independence

All calculator formulas, default values, and cited price ranges are chosen independently based on published market data, manufacturer specifications, and industry benchmarks. No manufacturer, service, or third party has any input into what we recommend, how we set defaults, or how we present cost information.

If a specific product or service is mentioned favorably, it is because it is representative of its market segment or because its pricing was directly used as a benchmark — not because the maker paid or requested placement.

What this site is not

We are not embroidery shop operators. We do not stitch out jobs on real machines and do not have hands-on production experience of the sort a working decorator has. We build tools and reference content based on published data, manufacturer specifications, and industry benchmarks.

The calculator is a planning and quoting tool. It is not a substitute for shop-floor testing, real customer feedback, or your local market's competitive dynamics. Numbers it produces are quote-floor estimates, not guaranteed profit margins.

Corrections and feedback

If a number, source, or fact on this site is wrong, or if a competitor benchmark we cite has changed, please tell us. We will update the source, credit the correction, and adjust the affected calculator defaults if necessary.

Contact for corrections, source additions, or general feedback: an email address will be posted here after domain migration and email routing is set up. In the interim, we monitor Google Search Console messages and Cloudflare Analytics referral data for informal signal.

Content freshness

Every content page has a `datePublished` and `dateModified` in its Schema.org Article markup. When a page is updated with new data, the `dateModified` is bumped and the change is noted in the site's session log (private) and, for material updates, in a visible "Updated:" line at the top of the page.
